The Killara Foundation is a NFP that provides critical services to young Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islanders. They had a website but it wasn't getting any traction and while they knew they needed an overhaul, they didn't know exactly what that would look like.
They turned to LimeHub as experts in UI/UX, design and development.
The success of a website rests on the user experience (UX). It is critical that a website provides relevant content in a seamless online experience. Killara offer a large number of services to a variety of target audiences which meant that the UX needed to be carefully and strategically designed.
We started the project by hosting a virtual workshop with key stakeholders within the Killara Foundation where we mapped all of the users and their needs and motivations (the user journey). Once we had a clear understanding of what we needed the website to do, we wireframed the site and ran a system selection to identify the system that would support the functionality requirements.
Once the wireframes were approved, we prototyped the design using Adobe XD, before developing the site in Webflow - the perfect system for their functionality requirements.
